Meet Marco Island Dentist, Jonathan Van Dyke, DMD
Dr. Jonathan Van Dyke joins the Island Tower Dentistry team with a wealth of training and experience. He completed his dental training in Florida, and has years of experience practicing dentistry in the state of Washington. Dr. Van Dyke holds a Bachelor’s degree in cell biology, a Master’s degree in biomedical sciences, and graduated at the top of his class from the LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. With a passion for providing his patients with world-class dental care, Dr. Van Dyke has worked to enhance his dentistry skillset with advanced education and training, in orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and implants.
Dr. Van Dyke is a firm believer in doing everything possible to maintain the health of one’s existing teeth. Thus, he received advanced training in endodontics fostered under the tutelage of Dr. George Bruder, a noted expert in the field who has delivered lectures and published articles for both the national and international audience of those interested in the latest in endodontics techniques and technology.
If saving a patient’s natural teeth proves not to be an option, Dr. Van Dyke strives to provide the best in implant technology. He has received advanced training in implant dentistry under the direction of Dr. Virgil Mongalo, a world-renowned implantologist and a noted pioneer in the field of implant dentistry.
Along with his advanced training in orthodontics, Dr. Van Dyke is well-trained and experienced in the application of Invisalign® and other clear aligners, and appreciates how they work to help preserve his patient’s smiles during the course of orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Van Dyke and his wife Elaina, a registered nurse, are happy with their move to the Marco Island area.
